In 2005 Bonne Pioche Cinema produced its first feature film: ” March of the Penguins” by Luc Jacquet. Since then, we have produced 17 films in different genres and cinematic playgrounds.
We work very closely together with our distribution partners to enable our films to reach the widest audience possible.
Both “The March of the Penguins” and “The Fox and the Child” have thus attracted more than 2 million viewers in France. The family franchise “We are family” by Gabriel Julien-Laferrière drew 750,000 viewers for the first film and 1.2 million for the second one. The third of the trilogy, “Who’s that Grandpa?, “is scheduled for release on 11 August 2021.
Our latest film, “Poly” by Nicolas Vanier, reached 500,000 French spectators in only 10 days, before the cinemas closed in October 2020.
Bonne Pioche Cinéma has won an Oscar, an Emmy Award, two César, a Victoire de la Musique, a Magritte and two Colcoa Audience Awards, and has received seven César nominations and a BAFTA nomination.
